After serving the community’s needs for business and personal travel for the past 63 years, Sawtelle Travel is proud and excited to announce the sale of the company to Plaza Travel of Vestal, New York.
 
Effective July 27, 2009 our agents will be working from the Plaza Travel location at 3036 Old Vestal Road just east of the Matthews Kia auto dealership. Our phone numbers and email addresses will remain the same and you can expect the same level of customer service you’ve come to rely upon over the years. Our agents will be available during normal business hours and by cell phone 24/7. The new business will be called Plaza & Sawtelle Travel.

 
Plaza Travel is owned and operated by Mark Webster and has been in business for 41 years. Sawtelle Travel has again won the Press & Sun Bulletins Reader’s Choice Award as the best travel agency in the area and Plaza Travel is consistently recognized as one of the best.
 
We’re happy to welcome Kelley Hunt as a new travel agent. Kelley has worked in travel for 24 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. Her main focus will be on serving the needs of our corporate customers.
 
We’re extremely proud to have prospered for 63 years and have always run our business with the utmost integrity and honesty. Consolidation is becoming common place in many industries and travel is no different. By combining forces with Plaza Travel we’re eliminating a major portion of expense while adding experienced staff and cementing our position as the premier travel agency in Broome County. It’s a true win-win situation!
